nights has sweetened the apples, fortunately we haven't had any hard freeze as yet so what is on the trees are still good
for eating, baking, and canning.
A five-year project to have local apple cider to sell has finally
paid off! Williams Fruit Ranch, in Emmett, had a mobile juicing wagon come from Montana and was able to press
apples for cider on Monday, October 16. We are excited to have gallons and half-gallons for sale here at Candy
Our hours are Sunday through Fridays from 9:30 am - 5:30 pm; we are closed on Saturdays. Sunday,
October 29 looks like it will be our last regular scheduled day.
If you wish to come at a later time later than 5:30 pm, call ahead and we can make special arrangements.
Come welcome fall

We are hoping you will plan to join us before the season is over!

Our orchard has a variety of trees including Red Delicious, Golden
Delicious and Rome Beauties. The Golden Delicious have a very good flavor and make a
great applesauce and dried apples. Red Delicious, one of the most famous American varieties, are wonderful
in Waldorf Salad. The Rome apples are a firm, slightly tart apple that are great for applesauce, caramel apples,
apple pies, apple dumplings, baked apples, and apple crisps. All three are a good eating apple depending on your preference
and are much better picked from the tree than from the grocery store.
All varieties are 85 cents per pound.
